What a year, 240 entries and several folks with 1 or 2 or even 3 entries. We added a fully Electric Stance category and brought four modded Teslas to the #Top100. We have a wave of 2-wheelers that made a sweet little class-up. Overall we’re “Approving” 109 total vehicles with (9) backups unnamed. Unfortunately, there are 138ish vehicles on the 4th floor in #Select. But I would say of the 138 most are good enough for indoor and outdoor shows around the Northwest.

Truths –

  1. You’ll submit the best photos and videos to represent the theme and look of your car.
  2. You will be allowed or not allowed into the show on these photos alone.
  3. You are attempting to get a judge to say “Yes” to allowing you in
  4. A “Yes” is “I like this car, it fits in the show”
  5. A “No” is “ I might like this car, but it does not fit in show and it stands out in a  review of the others in its class as” not the right fit”
  6. To guarantee a Top100 spot choose a car and class that few people are in
  7. Car with amazing 3pc wheels and air ride can win “Best Fitment” and be 100% stock otherwise because it’s about the fitment, not the car.
  8. To win “Best Stance” you need more than wheels, air ride, and wrap, has to be a fully built car.
  9. Car with huge wings never get into the “Best Stance” class without impressing Mike
  10. Huge wings = Function
  11. if 350+ enter, we still only taking the Best 100 for #Top100
  12. Mike can’t be a judge; he is too greedy and wants everyone in the show and everyone to win.
  13. You can’t win a class without all “YES” votes before and at the show
  14. All judges have to agree that you are the winner, no 3-1 votes. (winner by unanimous vote)
  15. (secret sauce) patient pending you copy motherfuckers
  16. If your girlfriend, wife or ‘other” registered your car, “their” name will be called and recorded as the winner ….. LOL

Facts –

  1. We don’t give a fuck what you won at Weakerfest, Elite Tuner, Tuner Evo, Clean Culture or anyone else’s show.
  2. We don’t give a fuck who you know or who you are – prepare your fragile ego
  3. We  don’t give a fuck how many Instagram followers you have, get off IG and build your car
  4. We take the value of your entrance fee and give it back in gifts
  5. We make money off the Top100 at the gate with spectators looking to see the best of the best not the average
  6. The class you pick could alter if you get into the Top100, your rank in a class, or win a trophy
  7. Having a popular brand could alter if you get into the Top100, your rank in class, or win a trophy
  8. Cars are eliminated before the judges even see them to not waste their time
  9. Getting into #Top100 is harder than winning a trophy
  10. We take the value of your entrance fee and give it back in gifts to anyone that enters
  11. We make money off the Top100 at the gate with spectators looking to see the best of the best
  12. To get high class ranking all you need is “Yes” votes
  13. The better your photos are the better chance of “Yes” votes.
  14. Five or six great details are worth more than $3,000 3pc wheels
  15. A constant theme that judge can see is better than $5,000 air ride
  16. You don’t have to have 3pc wheels to win, but I’ve never seen any winner with 2pc or cast wheels either
  17. Showing up at the show with a broke ass beat car that was not in the photos- we’ll  kick you out and keep your $$ – then laugh at the staff dinner
  18. In the event of tie at the show- Mike will be asked to break the tie – But is only is allowed to be asked “ Which one do you like better” – not knowing the class or trophy.
  19. The week of the show 5-10 cars get destroyed, brake down, explode and Elite cars are called to the Top100.. be patient
  20. We don’t do car “Make” trophies unless there is 15+ of them in the Top100  and why would we let 15 of one type of car?
  21. We do 15-18 trophies for 100 cars at every show (see below for examples)
  22. We would never to “Top25” , “Top50” plaques – We have judges and don’t put 200-500 average cars in our events.

Pre-Judging & Notification –

  1. Vehicles that don’t meet the “look” and “feel” get refunded and before the judge even starts, these are vehicles that have not business being entered into our show. (see facts 1,2,3 above)
  2. All vehicles are pre-judged on the photos and video submitted
  3. Once all the vehicles are submitted and #top100 ticket is closed then we start the process – two weeks before the event
  4. The first notification is at Top100 closed. Not when you enter, not when you want to know.
  5. Vehicles are classed prior to judge review
  6. Judges review and provide a “vote”
  7. Judges are only allowed so many “yes” votes per class
  8. Judges Votes are tallied
  9. The Judges votes create a rank for your vehicle  
  10. Higher the rank the better chance at #TOP100, lower rank might affect if you make it into #Top100
  11. Those with lower ranks that do not make a cut for the number of cars allowed in the Elite class are sent notification in waves, lowest ranks first (VIP parking placement, no chance of show spot) then Elite ( next in line for Top100 if a Top100 fails to take its place at the show)
  12. Those with middle to high ranks are put into the #Top100 and sent notifications last (Welcome to Top100)

  14. Judges review, opinions, and careful review are how a winner can be determined at the show
  15. Judges spend hours looking over photos, videos and specs before they cote for your car.
  16. Judges don’t need to spend minutes – hours to look again at the show, they only need to make a decision.
  17. At the show, the judges review the vehicles in the judge’s book and determine a winner by unanimous vote of all the judges.

THE WORDS ABOVE HAVE BEEN OUR “STANDARD” FOR YEARS, WE DIDN’T CREATE IT , IT EVOLVED FROM YEARS OF SHOWS AND MISTAKES. ITS ABOUT THE QUALITY WE’RE LOOKING FOR. MANY HAVE HAD HURT FEELINGS AND THERE WILL ALWAYS BE THOSE ” MINE WAS BETTER” , ” I SHOULD HAVE MADE IT” OR ” I SHOULD HAVE WON” – NO MATTER WHO PUTS ON THE SHOW THERE IS ALWAYS THAT CROWD.
