#ourlifebox – Yesterday we shipped
Wow, what a rush as I sit here and write this out. After six months of planning and staging, we shipped off our box to customers and a few select social media folks. This was a long journey for the first box and I hope that as the months go on we’re better and faster as we go. I’ve updated the timelines for December and some of the items have already arrived to get us on tracks with a ship date of 20th of the month. This way you can sign up till the 15th and it’s possible to receive the box.
I’m not going to break down the box yet, but a few sneak peaks at the larger items would be fine.
Rule 1 – the art changes every month and we got the balls to put it on the box, not JUST use the same box design over and over.
So with each month out art has to be made and send to the box manufacture before the month starts. Before the matching shirts, stickers and labels are created. One of the things I saw when reviewing other boxes is the boring box. I knew I wanted the box to be as cool as the limited art shirts inside.
Speaking of the shirts. We created limited edition shirts, and collaboration hoodie with #GriotsGarage with a combo of the StanceWars shirt and Griots Shirt combined. I was surprised how many customers went with our $60 Hoodie box over the $40 Shirt box. After seeing all the gear now, the Hoodies are going to be a want from our StanceWars Fans and Staff.
